Drivers have been urged not to panic buy amid reports of queues forming at some fuel forecourts. Some motorists appear to have taken nothing to chance and topped up their tank just in case. It comes amid a spike in oil prices in the wake of the escalating conflict in the Middle East. There are concerns that the war with Iran could cripple shipments of oil and gas through the key Strait of Hormuz.
