Four in 10 Americans say that they’re buying less thanks to President Donald Trump’s tariffs, according to a new poll from CBS. Support for the tariffs has fallen steadily since June, when 41 percent of those surveyed opposed them. In July, that number fell to 40 percent and in August, 38 percent.
