A teacher tragically took his own life after being sacked for making a joke about gay people during a school trip , it has been alleged. John Wright, 54, was discovered dead at a property in Marlborough, Wiltshire on November 3 in circumstances police have described as 'not suspicious'. An inquest into his death was opened at Swindon and Wiltshire Coroner's Court on November 7, with a full inquest set to be held at a later date. Mr Wright had been a physics teacher at the prestigious
