The Television Academy has greenlighted a second season of its Televerse festival. The news isn’t quite a surprise, as TV Academy president/CEO  Maury McIntyre told Variety last August that the org was already planning an encore, and examining how to improve on this year’s inaugural event. One of those changes was to adjust the event to a Friday/Saturday/Sunday event, vs. the inaugural year’s Thursday/Friday/Saturday pattern. As a result, the second Televerse will take place from Friday, Aug.
