On July 29, 2024, killer Axel Rudakubana , then 17 years old, barged into The Hart Space in Southport as a Taylor Swift-themed dance workshop was underway and stabbed several children inside. Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, Bebe King, six, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, were killed in the attack. Rudakubana also attempted to murder eight other children, who cannot be named for legal
