At the China box office over Oct. 10–12, “ The Volunteers: Peace at Last ” led a subdued frame with RMB34.9 million ($4.8 million), according to consultancy Artisan Gateway. The film, which commemorates the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army entering the Korean War, stars Wu Jing and Zhang Ziyi and marks the third chapter in  Chen Kaige ’s “The Volunteers” trilogy.
