Although Israel claims a high success rate in downing airborne threats, missiles will always get through. At the Magen David Adom control, 15m below ground in the city of Ramla, adjacent to Tel Aviv, they know this better than most. Sitting at scores of computer screens, controllers track incoming missiles using a mixture of open-source and classified military data.
