JRL first stage opening delayed to mid-2028; new station to serve the West

The first stage of the Jurong Region Line will open around mid-2028, six months later than initially planned. The Transport Ministry says more time is needed for construction and testing works. A new station on the line is set to open in the mid-2030s to serve residents in the West. Charlotte Lim reports.
