Former Arsenal defender and ITV co-commentator Lee Dixon has said he was almost in tears when Cape Verde drew with Spain on their World Cup debut. There were emotional scenes amongst the players from the tiny African island. They arrived into the USA as one of the minnows of the tournament, having qualified for the competition for the first time in their nation's history.
