Luisa Carpinelli is Head of the Advanced Economies and Macroeconomic Policies Division at the Directorate General for Economics, Statistics and Research of the Bank of Italy. Previously she worked as a Senior Economist in the Financial Intermediates Division of the Bank of Italy and as an economist at the ECB Research Directorate; she served as Economic Advisor to the Italian Minister of Finance in 2021-22. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. She has written
