A man allegedly kept dead puppies and a beaten-up teenage woman in a van. Police were alerted following reports of animal welfare concerns and came across the U-Haul delivery van in the morning of February 3. While inspecting the vehicle, officers noted the obscured windows and found seven dogs, four of which were dead, as well as a 19-year-old woman. The teen told authorities she was subjected to "physical violence." She later identified James Williams, 34, as the man who allegedly beat her
