Nationwide may freeze members' accounts for 72 hours in an effort to safeguard customers. This follows concerns that the continuing cost of living crisis is worsening gambling difficulties for many individuals throughout the UK. In response, Nationwide is implementing measures to tackle this issue by providing customers with access to a gambling block facility. Once activated, the block cannot be removed for a minimum of 72 hours, stopping users from placing any wagers for three complete days
