Popular diet eaten by many Brits raises risk of death by 48%

A typical British diet could significantly raise the risk of premature death, according to new research. The study found that consuming a diet rich in ultra-processed foods was associated with a 48 per cent increased rate of death from any cause and a 57 per cent heightened rate of death from cancer.
