Professor Tim Spector says high-fat drink which baffled scientists can boost heart health

Teona Gherasim

Professor Tim Spector has elaborated on a 'drink' that's laden with fat yet simultaneously reduces the risk of heart disease, stroke, and cancer. For decades, it was believed that diets rich in fat - especially saturated fats - were harmful. The NHS cautions that excessive saturated fat can elevate cholesterol levels, which heightens the risk of heart disease. Whilst fat is highly concentrated in energy, it also enables us to absorb vitamin A, vitamin D, and vitamin E, making some intake vital.
