Warning Issued in Southern Arizona as Temperatures Plunge

National Weather Service (NWS) meteorologists in Southern Arizona have issued a freeze warning for the early morning hours on Friday as temperatures are expected to plunge more than 20 degrees in some areas. Although the region has already seen a few other freeze warnings this season, NWS meteorologist Kevin Strongman told Newsweek that the low temperatures expected with the incoming freeze are lower than they have been, making this a harder freeze.
