The Colorado football family was rocked by the tragic death of quarterback Dominiq Ponder on Sunday evening. The 23-year-old signal-caller died in a single-car crash on Sunday morning around 3 a.m. in Boulder County, according to ESPN, which stated Ponder lost control of his vehicle while going around a curve before striking a guard rail and an electrical pole. Ponder’s car also caught on fire after rolling down an embankment. It’s suspected that he was speeding, but it hasn’t been confirmed.
