Rugby league great Kevin Sinfield, actress Dame Helen Mirren and six of the European Championship-winning Lionesses have been honoured in the King's birthday list. Sir Kevin Sinfield was knighted for his effort to aid further research into Motor Neurone Disease following the death of his Leeds team-mate Rob Burrow. He raised more than £11m for MND causes.
