Tensions are high on the streets of the Kenyan capital Nairobi, where police have used tear gas and water cannon to disperse demonstrators. Anti-government rallies are planned in the city to mark the 35th anniversary of the bloody Saba Saba uprising in 1990, when Kenyans demanded a return to democracy.
