Nestlé To Slash 16,000 Jobs: What To Know

Nestlé has announced it will cut 16,000 jobs over the next two years as it attempts to boost savings. The company's new CEO Philipp Navratil said the layoffs would be conducted with "respect and transparency." Navratil replaced the company's former CEO Laurent Freixe after he was fired in September over a romantic relationship with an employee. Newsweek contacted Nestlé for comment by email.
