Radicalized teen's motive under scrutiny in deadly Izmir police station attack

IZMIR A 16-year-old high school student attacked the Salih İşgören Police Station in Izmir 's Balçova district with a shotgun on Monday morning, killing two officers and wounding three others before being captured wounded while shouting "Allahu Akbar," authorities said. The assailant, identified as E.B., targeted the guard booth, martyring police officer Hasan Akın. During the ensuing clash, 1st Class Police Inspector Muhsin Aydemir, who intervened from the lodging, was also killed. Wounded
