What I saw from the open hatch of an aid plane over Gaza

Press / Newscom At a thousand meters above Gaza, the hatch of a Jordanian “aid” plane swings open and I get a glimpse of the blue Mediterranean. The shoreline summons images of 1948, when Palestinian families from Haifa and Jaffa were forced to flee to Gaza to escape Zionist militias who were ethnically cleansing Palestine’s coastal villages.
