European markets set to slump at the open as AI worries return

LONDON — European bourses are expected to open lower on Tuesday as global markets pull back on renewed concerns over AI-linked stocks. The U.K.'s FTSE index is seen opening 1.1% lower, Germany's DAX and France's CAC 40 down 1.3% and Italy's FTSE MIB down 1.27%, according to data from IG.
