Despite the gallant, breathless insistence of the commentators and pundits on the TV channel broadcasting events from Parc de Princes, PSG versus Manchester City was no classic. Quite frankly, more than a few City players looked like they could not really be bothered. More than a few City players had little appetite for doing any hard yards and had a distinct aversion to getting involved in 50-50 challenges. Pitifully, the performance was typical of their season, including the opening spell
