On November 6, Commission President Ursula von der Leyen gives a speech together with António Costa, President of the European Council, and António Guterres, Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) for Opening ceremony of the General Plenary of Leaders. The 30th UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) will be held from 10-21 November 2025 in Belém, Brazil, bringing parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement. Representing 27 Member States and more than 440
