WASHINGTON, May 13 : Attorneys for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and Elon Musk will appear before a federal judge on Wednesday to argue for their $1.5 million settlement over the billionaire's purchase of Twitter, potentially shedding further light on the years-long dispute between the parties. The settlement would resolve an SEC lawsuit accusing Musk of waiting too long in April 2022 to disclose he had amassed a 5 per cent stake in Twitter, and saving $150 million as a result.
