Current account posts $2 bln deficit in June

ANKARA Türkiye's current account balance recorded a deficit of $2.006 billion in June 2025, while the figure excluding gold and energy showed a surplus of $2.579 billion, according to balance of payments data released by the Central Bank . The annualized current account deficit's financing saw net direct investments contributing $4.8 billion, loans adding $21.1 billion and commercial credits providing $4.5 billion.
