A British adaptation of the legendary American sketch comedy programme, Saturday Night Live , debuted yesterday evening with an impressive lineup of homegrown comedic talent. Sky launched the six-part series on Saturday, 21st March, featuring 11 rising stars from Britain's comedy scene. The celebrated sketch show has been a staple of American television for half a century and has launched numerous acclaimed performers to fame, including Adam Sandler, Amy Poehler, Will Ferrell and Bill Murray.
