The Issue: ICE agents detaining multiple illegal venders and protesters on Canal Street in Chinatown. Forgive me if I have no compassion for illegal vendors hawking knockoffs produced by slave labor in China, in front of stores manned by legal immigrants paying taxes and rent ( “ICE’s Good Work on Canal Street,” Editorial, Oct. 23).
