About a dozen congressional Democrats received good news on Monday after a federal judge ruled in their favor, finding that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) may have broken the law after previously disallowing Washington lawmakers to visit immigrant detention facilities without providing advanced notice. All 13 Democratic plaintiffs in the lawsuit are members of the U.S. House of Representatives, who initially joined the litigation last year to legally fight back against DHS rules
