The killings of two protesters in Minneapolis, Minnesota, by US federal immigration agents galvanised protests in the city and changed the public mood across the country. Members of the local community have started tracking agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ‘ICE’, as well as other federal migration agencies, in the hope of protecting fellow protesters and alerting migrants to their whereabouts.
