3 February 2026 An analysis of Nasa satellite data, led by Professor Mohammad Shamsudduha (UCL Risk and Disaster Reduction), shows which 100 cities have been getting either wetter or hotter. Tokyo and Kampala are among the cities shown to be getting wetter, while Tehran is getting dryer. Read: The Guardian
