Webtoon Entertainment, the company behind the global webcomic phenomenon, pioneered the vertical-scroll format and drew in more than 150 million users worldwide. It completely dominated South Korea and Japan and its partnership with Disney sent its stock soaring 80%. But is it enough to win over the US market? Sohee Kim reports.
