'The Bride!' to start streaming May 22 on HBO Max

May 15 (UPI) -- The Bride! is coming to HBO Max next week. The film will start streaming May 22 on HBO Max and also premiere that day at 8 p.m. ET on HBO, a press release states. The Bride! is a romantic drama written and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal and starring Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale . The movie is inspired by the 1935 film Bride of Frankenstein , which itself is based on the Mary Shelley novel Frankenstein . The Bride! stars features Bale as a lonely "Frank," who travels to 1930s
