Russia and Ukraine held peace talks in Istanbul today. It was the first direct meeting in more than three years. The talks ended after less than two hours with no deal. Ukraine says Russia made new demands, including a military pullback from key regions - conditions which Kyiv says are unacceptable. But both sides did agree to a major prisoner swap.
