Indian PM asks citizens to work from home as energy prices surge

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on citizens to use less fuel, work from home, and reduce imports, as energy prices surge. Oil prices climbed to $104.47 a barrel as the United States and Iran failed to agree to a peace proposal drafted by Washington while the Strait of Hormuz remained largely closed.
