Oct. 23 (UPI) -- The NCAA has adopted a rule change to allow student athletes and athletic department staff to bet on professional sports. The new rule, applying to any sports betting activities, is to go into effect Nov. 1, after Division II and Division III approve the measures Wednesday. Division I approved the plan on Oct. 8.
