The announcement of a new €40 million tranche comes in the wake of a major graft scandal involving the Ukrainian power industry Germany has pledged to provide Ukraine with an additional €40 million in an effort to prop up its power generation during the winter, Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has said. The announcement comes as Ukraine’s energy industry finds itself mired in a corruption scandal allegedly linked to an ally of leader Vladimir Zelensky. Speaking on Tuesday, Wadephul said Berlin
