Luxembourg, 14 June - Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon called for a restoration of the Schengen system, as she attended an event marking 40 years since the Schengen Agreement was first signed by Germany, France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Today, the Schengen zone is comprised of 29 states, but a third have interior border checks in place, she said on X.
