President Sergio Mattarella's office on Tuesday expressed "astonishment" after Galeazzo Bignami, the Lower House whip of Premier Giorgia Meloni's Brothers of Italy (FdI) party, called on the head of State to deny a report by daily newspaper La Verità that his advisors were pushing for initiatives against Meloni and the ruling centre-right coalition.     In a statement, the president's office said Bignami's comments seem to "give credence to yet another attack on the Presidency of the Republic
