One person has been pronounced dead following a shooting near University of Toronto Scarborough campus (UTSC). Toronto police initially said they were called to the area of Military Trail and Old Ring Road around 3:34 p.m. for reports of a person with serious injuries. In a follow-up post on X, police indicated that the scene is now at Highland Creek Trail and Old Kingston Road, which is south east of the original location provided.
