Ljubljana, 20 June - New Slovenia (NSi) president Matej Tonin announced on Friday he would stand down as leader after seven years and would not contest the leadership race as the opposition party convenes a congress in September. This paves the way for the NSi to join a coalition with the Democratic Party (SDS), something Tonin has rejected.
