The Defence Secretary says an intelligence-gathering Russian spy ship has been spotted lurking on the edge of British waters. John Healey said research vessel Yantar has shined lasers at RAF pilots as he blasted the “highly dangerous act”, warning Russian President Vladimir Putin that the UK “is ready” to strike back if provoked again.
