Singapore to roll out new business grant in Oct to help firms cope with US tariffs

Government

To help Singapore companies adapt to new US tariffs, the government will launch a new business grant in October. Capped at S$100,000, the Business Adaptation Grant will be offered to firms over a period of two years. Support measures will also be offered to workers to help them navigate through a longer period of uncertainty and volatility. Since April, the Singapore Economic Resilience Taskforce has engaged over 3,000 stakeholders, including business leaders, unionists and new graduates.
