The Third Committee of the UN General Assembly’s 80th session voted Wednesday to condemn human rights violations in Russian-occupied Ukrainian territories, including Crimea. The resolution – A/C.3/80/L.33/Rev.1, titled “Situation of human rights in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, including the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol” – passed 78 to 15, with 74 abstentions.
