Lawmakers say the move will help shield children from “harmful content” Kazakhstan’s lower house of parliament has passed a bill banning “pedophilia and LGBT propaganda” in media and online to protect children from “harmful information.” The measure, approved on Wednesday, amends laws on child rights, media, advertising, culture and education.
