Prime Minister Mark Carney is pushing back against claims from the Trump administration that he softened his tone following a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump. Carney says he stood by remarks made during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos and reiterated Canada’s response to changes in U.S. trade policy, including building new partnerships abroad.
