The Israeli military says it has killed Hamas’ newly-appointed armed commander, Mohammad Odeh, in a strike on Gaza. Odeh, the leader of Hamas’ military wing the al-Qassam Brigades, was appointed to succeed Izz al-Din al-Haddad last week after the latter was killed in a similar strike on May 15, the military said.
