March 10 (UPI) -- Cincinnati Reds pitcher Hunter Greene will undergo surgery on his right elbow and is expected to be out until July, president of baseball operations Nick Krall told reporters Tuesday. Green, who was diagnosed with bone chips and loose bodies in the elbow, will undergo surgery Wednesday in Los Angeles. Dr. Neal ElAttrache will perform the procedure. "It's definitely good news compared to what it could have been," Krall said, according to MLB.com . "You're thinking the worst.
