The European Union, together with the Government of Tanzania, IOM and Enabel, has launched the RE2CLID project to address climate-related displacement in the Lake Tanganyika Basin. The EUR 13 million initiative will strengthen climate displacement responses, disaster risk management, natural resource governance, and community resilience in Tanzania’s climate-vulnerable areas. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, with the support of the European Union, and implementing patners, the
