May 22 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Rams signed veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford to a one-year extension through the 2027-28 season, the NFC West franchise announced. Sources told ESPN , the Los Angeles Times and the New York Post that the pact is worth $55 million and will the reigning NFL MVP under contract through 2027-28.
